12/2020: Received a GMU Provost's Summer Team Impact Project Grant together with Dr. Hamdi Kavak (PI) and Dr. Taylor Anderson on our project titled "Data-Driven Analysis of Human Behavior in COVID-19 Simulation Models" for research with undergraduate and high school students in Summer 2021.

10/2020: I'm co-organizing the 1st ACM SIGSPATIAL International Workshop on Modeling and Understanding the Spread of COVID-19 to be held on November 3rd, 2020. The workshop features two outstanding keynotes (Dr. Nicholas Reich and Dr. Jeffrey Shaman) and 16 excellent paper presentations.
